25$ at a nursery I found this guy. Trunk is probably around 1 -1/2 to 2 inch diameter

Trunk line looks like its gonna be fun to play around with it has lots of movement to it. Just wondering what the characteristic of it are, how they respond to hard pruning, also what is the best time to work it, should I let it go dormant and work on it next year in spring or can I cl3an ir up now so I can wire it in winter?

Seems you are getting a cascade of ideas.

Fall is a common time to work on juniper. That's when I wire mine and trim them. Though i don't/wouldn't hesitate to trim it at any time of year really. Just remember that if you start taking away foliage and repositioning branches it will need some winter protection.

Looks like Cambridge is Zone 5 - I wouldn’t work on it now unless you have a greenhouse.

Yeah, I would think just cleaning out the dead debris + some minimal cuts would be fine. Nice tree. Wait till next year to get busy.
