Lol....
I did not omit "the" on accident!

It supposed to be GREEN!;)

Seriously, I do like the shape too, and it is by far the best one there IMO....

Brown Grayish Green going up just seems a little blah...

I'd rather see it in something with hints of green or grey.
The Brown seems off for this one...

I do wonder how it would pair with that azalea.....colors seem to fit. Something about bright flowers against the Brown, would work better I think....

But again....I wasn't lying about learning pot matching! I just go off my own "feelings", and I like to share!
Just not my pot!:p

I'm not sure "sacreligious" is the right term...

But zelkova are generally paired with white, creme, ir soft green pots. I think those colors go better with the grey trunk and leaf color.

Browns are more suited to conifers and sometimes azalea.

I can not say I like brown pot. Its sacrilegious.

However much I think using the word "sacrilegious" in describing pot choice is totally awesome!
At the comma before the quoted, I stopped talking about clay!

Sorry, Weed Joke!

What about the blue pots everyone seems to have? Those really should be used up.

Blue is overused. But, blue goes with a lot of trees.

Blue is so popular, many cheap pots are made blue to sell.

But then, there are NICE blue pots.

Like this one:

That Ume blooms pink. The blue really sets the blooms off.
