Short, low-branching bald cypress example in nature

Don't know if photos of full-sized non-bonsai, non-potted trees is okay - if not, please let me know.
I see lots of bald cypress bonsai with the taller trunks and branches sort of localized to the upper parts of the trees. I like
those and saw them while I was growing up in Louisiana. Here's a photo of one that was struck by lightning years ago and branched below
the spot where the trunk split off and broke. Just thought it looked neat. I may try one like it in a group with the taller ones at some point.

One goal of bonsai (stick in pot) is to emulate , in miniature, what we may see in nature. I love seeing large, funky ,old trees to use as inspiration.
