Amazing seeing this progress. Quick question, why the bigger pot on the bottom?

Also, did you do anything to the roots in the meantime?

The pot it was in was a bit small so the bigger pot underneath allowed for the roots to grow through and into the bottom pot where they had more space.
I haven’t done much to it, had a baby so it’s been just maintenance. Next spring I’ll get to work with them again as they had a rough time thanks to park ranger spraying something and it got in my trees.

Won’t keep you waiting too long, it was cut back not too long ago pretty heavily grew back and I just shaped it. This is where it is today.

There’s a lot that has gotten away from me start with that first branch and that giant root, might just get started with that branch this season. Still a lot of hot days ahead down south..
