I pulled the stem off and let it float on the creek. It started pooling in the cap like it was bleeding.

I have no idea about mushrooms and would be very grateful if anyone can help me identify these

Are they a sign of healthy soil or unhealthy? Will they harm my tree?

It is hard to identify a shroom by a pic. Can you brake one mature one off and take a zoomed in pic of the underside of the cap and stem? And the top too.
They do look a bit like honey mushrooms that grow on wood and can be destructive to it...
