Softwood Cuttings - Crape Myrtle - Overwintering?

I have some softwood cuttings of my crape myrtle growing in a nursery bucket with a dead Mugo stump.
2 of the 5 cuttings have grown.

Should I keep them with my tropicals this winter?
Or bury them in mulch outside?

If they’re hardy in your neighborhood, I’d mulch them into a protected area outside.
