Al, any special benefits from using these tubs?
I remember reading something about roots developing more but stops when reached the rim?
Got a few training pots from house of bonsai that has only the bottom free drainage holes.
last year i placed a trident in pure pumice and liked the
root spread will be reporting it soon and place in a larger training pot.

welll....one store is completely sold out except if you want any laundry hamper size baskets. I checked last Tuesday and he said they get a shipment every Thursday so I will check back there.
My other source, even better because they are cheaper, is getting pretty slim on the 12" to 18" sizes, he, he hehe. I have no idea what their shipping practises are becuase it looks like a market in downtown Laos with dirt on the floor and having to look all up and down a 25 foot gondola to get ten of the same size. Obviously they do not adhere to the western custom of "facing" merchandise during off hours.
Thats part of the charm and I'm game for the hunt. It is definately worth it since I get 14" x 4" inch baskets for 89 cents.
