Well, I know he sells quince on his website...thus, that's what I am assuming it is. Just has that feel to me...could be wrong.

There are ume and Chinese quince and Japanese quince and chojubai sprinkled around throughout. Ume are done flowering. Japanese quince and chojubai are presently flowering. Chinese quince are just starting to flower.

Yes, those are red flowering chojubai cuttings. Some taken last spring; Some taken the year before. All for sale.

Just a few months. I bought it in the middle of this past winter, maybe @Don Blackmond knows exactly when. I am terrible with dates. All of the energy I could focus on remembering dates goes into the tree

Chojubai are great for bonsai. The whites grow more vigorously than the reds, and flower more profusely than the reds if you can believe that. Here's a white getting ready to explode.
