Spring!!!!

I just performed the first round of defoliation and cut back on my tridents. Spring is flying by!

Getting 44 degree nights for two days. Tropicals back inside. :(

I think we skipped it...we had 96*F yesterday (record high).

Yea we were in the 90s today. Weird thing is they are calling for a high of 65 on Friday, with every day this week in the 90's

This is going on in my back yard right now :o

This is one of those threads that makes me wish I spoke Fahrenheit.

Still freezing nights and the odd snow bank in the shade here but springy enough now.

I will risk it and leave mine outside...51 this morning and 50 is the forecast tomorrow morning.

Our nights are still mostly 40ish so the Tropicals continue in the house for a couple more weeks. Everything else is looking good outside though except that darn Plum we discussed last Fall... Oh well...

Nice blooms! Mine were done & withered more than a month ago. :(

Spring has been late this year, but some things are finally putting on a display. Couple of pics of my winter hazel. It's a reclamation project that I got about a year and a half ago, previous owner said she had a lot of die back so my first priority has been to get it healthy and growing again. That seems to have been accomplished so this season I need to start thinking about how to arrange those trunks and branches. Clump style of some type, obviously!

Love the flowers on these, they look good from afar and up close, and have a nice fragrance as well.
