Stink O Ginkgo

Well it was delivered at TEN THIRTY last night! I get up at 3:30AM for work, so Needless to say I was in bed already By then lol. It's not looking too happy, lots of yellow leaves and such but I'm sure it will be fine. I'll start a thread asap.

Poor fedex delivery man, having to work so much later than normal
5 days in the box shouldn't have any problem. I got a JM that sat in the box for 10 days that doing fine now. Here is what it looks like when I got it open.
The first pic is what it looks like today. The second pic is what it looks like when I opened the box.

Female ginkgos should be great as bonsai. The fruit don't stink until fully ripe, a bonsai would look cool with fruit hanging.

I also a fan of eating ginkgo nuts. They are fairly mild, much like chestnuts. Cook them by cleaning off the stinky outer fleshy part, boil in water, at least 20 minutes, peel shell off, eat or slice and add to soups, dressing, or any of a thousand dishes. They are a staple, a commercial crop in China and Japan. Yum.
