Some Semi macro photography. Sat patiently for a few hours. Strelitzia "Bird of paradise flower" Local plant species and the African "Killer" Bee.

We've also had a distinct lack of sunrise and sunsets this month. Grey, ugly days but caused by smoke from bushfires.

The sun should be rising through there somewhere.

One day the smoke cleared a little and the sun made an appearance late in the morning

Almost back to normal now - clear skies and getting warmer after a week of light rain helped to quench most of the fire activity at least temporarily.
