To be more clear we all do in my family and do it a bit over the top in most peoples eyes concerning energy use and conservation - my point was and is when you do all you can don't worry it - you cannot control it, just do your best...
As an example here in our new smaller home we ran out of things to do to reduce our footprint... This Spring we are replacing a perfectly functional AC unit with a 8000.00USD system to reduce our footprint as much as possible. I will not live long enough to see the energy savings be of any concern to me but I do understand it helps...

Just more junk science, come up with a theory that no one can really prove or disprove and then get loads of government grants to study it. Publish papers that politicians and snowflakes can't understand and get more money to study it. That is why climate change is the "buzzword" now, the global warming theory did not pan out like they had hoped.

The reason that guy reversed the Ivory ban is so the boys can bring back their hard earned trophies.
I mean those poor fellows have to spend all this money for a permit,plane fare,hotel expenses,the big gun (Not some hopped up .22 like an A.R.) They have to then get out of a land rover in the sweltering heat,wait for the handlers lead the animal out,shoot that big gun (which probably hurts their soft shoulders,hurts their ears. Then they have to wait for somebody else to cut the trophy off.
After all that,why shouldn't they get the head home to prove their badassedness.
At least their grandchildren will have an example of the animal to look at when they are all gone.

The love of money? Obesity? How to topple democraticly elected governments to put in place religious dictatorships like you did all through the 20th century, and before, to serve your own petty interests, then try to fight them for the benefit of a few happy ones?
You (I don't mean all US citizens, but people like you) have been the major source of conflicts and wars for decades, so you'd better put it down.
People like you are sinking in dirty, muddy waters and you don't even realize it. Because those who put this administration into power, I shoulkd say this family (like the way they understand it in Sicilia) are just either totally stupid, or criminals.
Anyway, the big-mouthed chief has clay heels: he hasn't achieved anything so far at home, the US diplomacy is a laughing stock around the world (I know you don't know, but you should know even if you can't speak any foreign languuuuage - private joke)
I also think that most people contributing to this forum are white, at least middle-aged, upper-middle-class people, and that the most extremist opinions here are not the voice of all citizens in the US.
But some here are real caricatures of why when you travel abroad and the locals think you're "American" they ask you: "Why don't you Americans like us?..."
