The redwoods of the Redwood Empire

These are the trees contained in the foyer of the exhibit. Some of the best redwoods I have ever seen. The foliage is delicate and finely groomed for a redwood. I have kept them myself. I would be hard pressed in my climate to have a redwood look this good in August.

My hats off to the entire club.

Absolutely gorgeous. I am working on one and its taking the heat pretty good. In about 10 years I"ll send a picture.

Most redwood bonsai don't look like a real redwoods. These, on the other hand, are mature beauties.

Wow.. They're really fantastic!
The first one is the most impressive to me, because as bonsai barry said, it looks like a tree.
It shows that with local species, technique, and most of all, talent, inspiration, one can have very high level bonsai.
