I keep coming back to this angle as my favoured front for this Zelkova stump, the nebari and low left branch give the tree a balanced look with some asymmetry if i bend that left branch down a bit...its like the tree is towering over the viewer with the wide ascending canopy...
it looks a mess, not been wired, thats fine.its going to get the hedgepruning technique...later in the season it will be sheared back hard the same way i treated my Chinese elm, which the Zelkova has replaced...

Willem van Vlaanderen. It is artificial made out of nylon or something.

Not a species I would consider for bonsai tbh.
