Time to collect a couple elms....

He's going to need an athletic supporter lugging these giant stumps around!
I'm stronger then I look in pics ;)
I know customers at work trip out when I pick up two 15gl trees athat work and what like it's nothing, then a big buff dude will come in and have issues carrying one:eek:.
Buying one from Aaron would be more about support than need!

And it would be cool!
Much appreciated my friend!
Nothing out of the cuts yet?
Here's a pic I took last night, all of the big guys are pushing cambium to bud out of the top.20170316_080210.jpg 20170316_080218.jpg
I'm getting too excited for this year!!!

Looks like the sea of huge trunk elms there. Confirmated...who's not lazy...very nice.

Hi Aaron,
Very nice specimen you have. It looks like you have to be ready for a lot of carving work in the future.
I have one big yamadori wing elm in the same phase as yours (just dug it up about 3 months ago). It has a lot of shoots at this time. I will let them grow much stronger, then I will remove all unnecessary branches, and start training the remained branches.
Remember to give them a lot of fertilizers, and sunlight.
Good luck to you!

The last big guy to get to the new place, it was at my ex's for awhile since it is in such a large pot and was able to boot be watered for a few days at a time. It did get some frost damage about a week back on some areas but it's still doing very well.20170413_072839.jpg

niiice. Up here (Los Alamos), we have plenty of Russian Olive. I'm looking forward of doing something similar in two I have too close to my house.

I like that raft Aaron. You’ve still got a lot of trees! I thought you purged quite a few recently.
