Virginia Collected bald cypress

Made a trip to my favorite bonsai nursery today. They have some Bald Cypress collected in S.E. Virginia. Nice trees. They also had a Peve Minaret cultivar they found in a local nursery. It's the largest I've ever seen--about five inches at soil level. The graft union is almost invisible. Interesting to see how this one develops. Foliage is tighter, denser and smaller than the main species.
