I posted this in the Newbie thread but realized it should have its own thread. Hi all, I am new to Bonsai and this great BN site. I have a problem with my walnut tree. I dug it up when it was just a seedling, put it in a nursery pot and left it for about 4 years to grow. Now the leaves are getting yellow and on the under side is what looks like a fungus of some type. It has been in the pot for a year. Attached some pics. Thanks for all your help.

Walnut Downey leaf spot is what it looks like to me.

NH, that looks like it. So the tree is in "quarantine" until I can figure out what to do. I don't want it to infect any of my other plants. I do know that fungus spreads pretty fast. A few days ago only a couple leaves were infected now all of the leaves have spots.
Thanks again.

I’d only worry about other walnuts or close relatives, so if it is your only walnut I’d just let it ride. Probably this warm wet spring we had that let it get infected in the first place.
