What Are the Rarest Bonsai Tree Species?

I have only seen conferta as low-growing shrubs, while rigida can be a moderately large tree

That’s why I didn’t want to settle for conferta. I knew I could always have the dollar store version of Rigida if I just couldn’t locate actual temple juniper.
I wanted (and found) the real deal but, it took a bit of searching.
Now, one of my goals is to propagate it for future enthusiasts.
