What's going on with my olive?

The owner said " ...The years it was ...rootbound... "seemed" to pose no strange effects...." and "...repotted earlier.." and "...prinicipally Miracle Grow in a sort of light solution. 1 scoop per gallon. About once every 3 weeks to month..."
The new roots are too tender in "hot" lava and chemical fertilizer combined together. I never fertilize my new transplant trees with chemical fertilizer every 3 weeks to month. With olive, I fertilize it twice a year.

Are you an advocate of only ORGANIC fert?

No, I am not. I have been using both inorganic and organic fertilizers.

@bonsaibp Bob, just to clarify early summer is okay to repot olives?

Yes I start doing them here in May and do so through mid Sept.
