Ive been experimenting with some fogponics to propagate some hardwood bluemoon wisteria cuttings. These cuttings have no leaves, but after 4 days in the fogponic cloaner flower buds are starting to spark (without leaves). Would this mean that roots are starting to develop?

Being new to this, I figured leaves would be before the flowers. Should I pinch of the flower buds to help it start growing leaves?20200421_181614.jpg20200421_181358.jpg

I would pinch off the flower buds. No it does not mean that roots have formed.

gotcha, I was thinking the green parts were new leaves coming with the flower, but new leaf sprouts look different to this right? They are seperate?

Leaving those buds on the cutting will drain the energy that is left in the cutting. With cuttings the most important thing to do is to get roots to grow before the cutting desiccates.

If you have roots you can either leave or pinch the buds......but make sure you have roots.
