Cadillactaste
Neagari Gal
This Pyracantha would have to be my feather in the cap sort of transformation as of to date. Since @sorce is tagging @Carol 83 to see...for inspiration. I thought why not create a thread...on transformations. Before and after shots.
This material...I was unable to find anywhere in my area. Nurseries could not even order them in. So...I went with Jason Schely who said he had some raw material. Figured something with character. So the slant trunk was it. I'm not prone to be attracted to formal uprights for some reason. Pyracantha are known for wonky roots...so I was hoping for something not to overly unattractive. That might...add interest. ( I still struggle with my discussions I had with Jim on here...on hot mess of roots. But, these...as a few others agreed...are worth keeping.) Considering now...A possible grow box...to thicken that trunk...to make the roots seem more size appropriate. Suggestion from the Big Nut here himself. Thanks!
