What’s your latest Bonsai related purchase?

That one is nice, where did you bought it? Amazon is currently out. I am considering the one below.

I bought this one last year to fill out the pots to set the bags in when I removed them from the ground, but it is too large for seedlings. I am using it now as the bottom layer for smaller bags as it doesn't fall off the drain holes of the pots I am using, then I will the sides with smaller perlite I bought at Home Depot.

Great pot!!!

I’m curious what Mauro advised you do with the Chojubai if I may ask?..
Potential shift in front which I need to strongly consider, he demonstrated how much flexibility I still have in some of the primary branches that otherwise would've rendered another potential front undesireable. He also suggested I could compact some of the other pliable trunks to create a tighter profile, also something worth thinking about!

Cool. It certainly looks like it’s off to a good start.

Shaving Brush tree Pseudobombax ellipticum coming from Gardinos in FL.

over a year coming . Lack of sources of Primarily JWP lead to asking a specialist nursery to piggyback there order from iseli nursery . Several I asked for were denied . But here they are . First up Joe’s Bess bristlecone pine . Next Catherine Elisabeth JWP . Last Fukuzuma JWP . All ordered sight unseen . All in 3 gallon pots . I’m happy with the BC graft and the CE . The fuku not so much . ( my original thinking that it’s listing as prone to multi trunk ) might hide the graft best . But it’s all good . The first 2 have nice grafts and dwarf needles . I’ll most likely start threads on these . Any thoughts welcome
