I have couple but this is really good looking one... once you open up the interior should show off all the trunks/branching inside. Have an impression it's more than one trunk inside there...

Yup...1 big trunk with about 5-6 other smaller trunks inside ...I'll be selecting which to keep and which has to go in the near future.

Bought my first pair of pliers. Can anyone tell me anything about the brand? I really wanted them in 180mm carbon steel but there wasn't a lot of choice out there. Also tried some stainless steel with the fancier curved handles but this one felt more comfortable in the end

Two new pots! The first one with a dragon design is for one of my JBP, and the second pot, dark blue, is for my Japanese Maple. Both to be potted in them come spring (September).

I had most of my tools refurbished! Sharpened, blades re-aligned, new rivets where needed.
I swear .. These tools are no better than when I bought them. So pleased!

If in Germany, Wolfgang Meinhardt full profi, and.. not expensive either. Refurbishing all these tools cost me less than a masakuni pair of scissors.

Not to upset you but.. DOes not really look like an ittoigawa. Nor 15 years old.
Did you get it from a place you trust to have their naming and aging correct?

Yes, it's from a reputable local nursery so I'm not concerned regarding them being deceitful.
