That's Elon Musk's name for one of the largest factory's ever built. This one facility is supposed to be able to produce triple the amount of lithium ion batteries of all the other factories combined!

My car has 7000 AA sized lithium batteries in the battery pack. Thats a lot of batteries. Now, just think how many batteries would be needed to make 500,000 cars a year! That's their goal.

I want one....

But I bet they ban them here because pedestrians are farking morons!

Soundless? Be a lot of dead ass commuters....you gotta be concience of that yes?

No engine noise. There's still tire noise on the road.

Yeah, I've heard some places want the cars to make some noise so that blind people can hear the cars approaching. Personally, I don't agree with that. I certainly don't want blind people to step out in front of a car, but I'm not sure this is the correct solution.

It is very different when you get in and drive away, and the car makes no noise. It's also different because there's no transmission. So no little hesitation as the car changes gears. No engine revving, then revving less when the tranny changes.

Suddenly you realize you can hear things thru the sound system you've never heard in a car before. Weird. At first. Then, you become totally spoiled!

I'm worried about the schitzos of the world - what are they going to do?

Has anyone had experience with this? I seem to remember something I read about some Japanese masters hammering bark to create age in bark. What species? What time of year? How to do it?

Extremely stupid idea!

Try this on your best tree..but use a mini sledge it does wonders to the trunk , don't be shy use a little force

I am sure the trunk will swell by hammering it, but I doubt it will be easy to get a uniform thickness and you'll probably end up with an inverse taper. Then what?
