I'm fairly new here so obviously my opinion carries a lot of weight. ;-)

When I first read this post I was like, "dafuq is he talking about?" because I hadn't seen anything (except when reading really old threads) that seemed overly bitchy to me. Then I read the comment cited as an example and I get it now. Seems to me to be an overreaction to a truth that he didn't want to see.

I've had my feelings hurt a couple of times when people told me a truth I didn't want to hear. I'm one of those people that tend to be fairly good at a lot of things and I don't like it when I'm not. And I'm not at bonsai... not yet. But truth and honestly is how we learn and grow. Sometimes that comes across as bitchy or abusive but I don't really think that is prevalent here. Or maybe I just have a thicker skin when it comes to other people getting criticized. lol

Beer isn't cheap in Australia at all, less so an IPA. I mean 50 bucks a case for the cheapest? No thank you, coupled with another 50 for a pack of cigs and that's your friday night.
Maybe Europe has got me all soft but Aussie prices are scandalous.

That said I'm about to pull the trigger on a case of Coopers Pale Ale here but it's an import and still cheaper than in Oz.
