The base/nebari is huge. I may struggle putting into a bonsai pot in the future

I was pretty surprised that I was able to get this air layer to root.

Do not reduce the foliage much, that's what will generate the power to grow roots.

Cheers! There was not a huge amount of foliage on the leaders. See how/if it recovers anyway.

Thanks for sharing this multi-year progression! Love the fat base one. Huge nebari is a good problem to have! big pots are a bit harder to come by but they're out there.
