Bonsai Kogetsu Azalea

I too was a participant in John's program of paying it forward. It shows that there are some high quality people in the world. If we could only get the whole world to step up a notch. John's actions boosted my belief in people when it was very welcome. My hat is off to John with a big thumbs up and a pat on the back. Well done!
 
Good looking plant. I sure hope I don't f÷=k it up.
First flowering plant I own. Hawthorns are supposed to have flowers but none for me.
As soon as a flower appears a new thread will also appear.
Flowering bonsai selfie thread. I think I'll look good with a flower behind my ear. Or coming out of it.

No clue how I missed this one... Now I see where you got the "moldy old rag" comment you made when scolding me about fighting with that Harunobu cat...

This is so funny... I even linked to this guy's eBay post on @Mellow Mullet 's thread about his Azalea that looks just like this one, somehow not realizing all this was going in in another thread... Since I started selling stuff myself, I have been SO busy I don't have time to keep up with this forum like I used to...

So, I made some wise cracks about the price of this tree in the other thread- but he stated he was selling out of desperation. I feel for the guy a little bit- then I see the toxic responses he posted to Johng, friend of mine, and all that goes out the window...

A bit of advice from someone who is still somewhat new at selling this stuff:
Sell stuff at a fair price, comparable to what others charge for comparable material, or 1- you won't sell much/ ANY. 2- if you post it here, people will eat you ALIVE! It seems there is a general negative attitude towards almost anyone who tries to sell on this forum, even if posted in the "trees for sale" thread and people do their best to find reasons to complain instead of reasons to buy.. (Not saying this as a negative comment towards anyone here, just saying this is a discussion forum and while eBay or a FB page will not allow comments, that is what is website is FOR! There is no filter and no vested interest in you being successful at selling your stuff here...)
This type of tree offered for 5-10 times what it's value is... Well that is just setting yourself up for a good thrashing!

Anyways, I was able to catch a Satsuki Bonsai Azalea show over in Sacramento while visiting. All I can say is... Amazing!!! It was my first ever bonsai show I have been able to witness in person. The trees were so stunning. And you guys know how bad I am with prices! If those were my trees, they would probably all be over $10,000 each!!!:D:D:D Beautiful trees none the less. Hope to see more shows just like this. Come check it out!

@Mellow Mullet. If you still have some cuttings, I would love to have one. I've been wanting to get an azalea, but don't want to waste a lot of money on something I may kill. I would be happy to pay whatever postage.
