I recently got a juniper bonsai and I am noticing some needles browning. It’s outside all day with half day sun. It’s currently around 80 degrees F and I water it everyday. Why is it browning? Pictures attached

Your tree looks quite health actually. Those are old needles that shed naturally over time.

Thank you! I was worried. I read somewhere that needles browning from the “outside in” are bad signs. Is this true?

Definitely. If that happens it could be from a number of things. I’d get this juniper in full sun and water as needed to help keep it healthy. Safe to say every day is fine, but as those highs start getting lower you really need to pay attention to how wet your keeping your tree.
