Well, the time has come for me to reduce the size of my collection. These trees excluding the holly have all been in my collection for at least 4 or 5 years, and some for much longer. I will link the progression threads associated with said trees... if more current pictures are wanted, send me a pm and I'll get them. These trees are for local pick up only- North metro Atlanta- though I might consider a meet up within an hour's drive. These trees will be headed to my club auction next week so limited time to get them... prices negotiable but barely. Let me know if you have any questions.

https://www.bonsainut.com/threads/my-bald-cypress-flat-top-project.20285/ $900, 26" high quality stoneware (Chinese) pot included.
https://www.bonsainut.com/threads/what-the-hell-did-i-just-do.32244/ $700 for the big fat one, 18" high quality Chinese stoneware pot included
https://www.bonsainut.com/threads/southern-hackberry-project.26898/ $600 comes with very nice glazed pot from a European potter, Isabelia, out of the Czech Republic.
https://www.bonsainut.com/threads/carved-water-elm.28745/ 22" rectangle mica pot included!
https://www.bonsainut.com/threads/another-shimpaku-semi-bunjin.4554/ $700, tokoname pot included. Good luck finding a 40+ year old shimpaku trunk with the same character for less $$

Whoa.....prices slashed to the bone!!! Care to come up north for a bit and help local nurseries with pricing?

Bald cypress or not, 900 is dirt cheap!!!

Some great deals(all)....I won't be traveling south however, anytime soon.....

Good luck with the sale. Nice materials..... 🎅

Thanks man! If I could, I keep them all, but time and the mountain I live on and have taken their toll :). I know that at a show, or at a specialty bonsai nursery, all of these would command 50% to 100% higher pricing… But I really am hoping that someone who loves them as much as me is willing to get them at a good price for both of us.

The cypress? Not a fan of 'em, but even I can tell it's about double or more compared to the asking price!! Wheeler Dealers? Riiiiiiight.........stand firm!!

Their all half-price for that matter!!! 🤑 😣😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Roots all sorted nicely....that's where the money is!!! Way better than what I get a hold of, and these are well known spots.;)🤔

I should mention... there's a possibility that I could bring I could bring one or two (not the cypress) to the Nationals... I'd have to ask my ride ;) .

Are any of the others good for Michigan climate? My friend in Marietta could pick it up and then we could drive down as we do a couple of times a year and pick it up?

Haha funny how the property "progressively gets more mountainous" as we get older.......
Even if its mostly flat like mine, those stairs have become mountains for sure 🤣

I too am looking toward smaller trees to ease the burden of lugging the suckers around.

I am sure youll sell them. They are all very nice trees for someone to take and progress with

The only one with a solid zone 5 cold hardiness is the Juniper... the rest are zone 6ish to 7, meaning they'd need a fair amount of protection in a chunk of Michigan. I'm in 7b GA... they stay on the bench for most of the winter, freeze thaw a lot, then get put on the ground +/- a covering of leaves for the ever rarer cold snaps with low temps in the teens and single digits.

Got it. Our Chinese elm stays in the garage over winter and does well. We're in Detroit suburbs so 6A.
