Had this one marked since last spring. It was in 3" of water on the edge of the swamp and would move in the soft mud went pushed. This is going to be a several year project. I may be able to pot it higher later on because the trunk makes a sweeping turn towards the viewer almost in a complete circle. It had a surpising amount of small feeder roots close to the trunk. It's chopped rather high for insurance purposes.

That is a nice start, as are some of those cypress in the back. Hoping it explodes with bud for you.

I hope so too, Stan. It's going to need a TALL shoot to make the next section of trunk for any semblence of taper.
