Did you take a fall picture? What's next to it? Orange Dream?

As your aware, it was pretty dry around here last summer. I sight most everything in some pretty harsh sunlight, so the leaves take a beating. It was labeled as "Katsura", but who knows?

The shaded stuff was glowing this fall, though....

What is it then? Standard a. palmatum? Still nice though

Hey @JoeR I'm stoked you enjoy it!! Can't take much credit, besides a pretty basic re-pot. Maybe a Kashima or something across those lines? Edges come in a super bright red, with a brilliant yellow center.
In my experience, greens come in a deeper, darker red with less yellow.

Thanks for your kind words, and enjoy your trees!!!;):D:D:D:D

Wow that's really bright red! The spring colors sound Katsura. The summer color looks Katsura as well. I'm not sure if they turn red though. Whatever it is, that's a win-win-win for all the seasonal colors you get from this tree ;)

I'll cut this weekend or next. Second spring after repot. Lots more vigor. Good looking roots covered in soil at the moment. It'll need a bigger pot to feature/grow in my backyard. Some photos here of root spread on this one.

Trunk is cool, twisty and covered by foliage....
