I have been battling slab built, large ovals for a while, and finally got one to work. The oval and 6 sided pots are available, if anyone is interested. I created a rough sandpaper like texture on both of them.

Those would be great for my office orchids that are a bit of a pain to take into the bathroom every week to water.
