There are those here that do....I just wish to know how it's been applied. I could teach people how to do things in one day mano eh mano and you could post vast improvements the next day without spending a dime....

Prost! Learned that from A feller on a train to Colorado before I knew what Yamadori juniper were. I remember how to get to an old Silver mine only less than a dozen people on earth know how to find. The owners of the property probably don't even know how to get there.

When you speak of the places in America we haven't been in search of what Croatia offers...I think of that place, I remember the rattlesnake in it's den on the side of the cliff, about 2ft long western diamondback, brown and greyish, I even remember the poses it remained in....

I remember there were trees everywhere, I remember the shade, I remember the deadwood handholds on the cliff face....
I remember the smell of juniper....

But I can't recall what the trees looked like in my pre-bonsai mind.

Makes me long to go back.

you didn't quote anybody. It fell after my post so... I thought you were being smart to me. I don't know anyone that's blown money on those Mirai classes.

Yeah, uhm, no. I can't handle people bitching about my trees, yet. I'm too sensitive for that. I need some armor made out of rhino skin and drink some tiger blood first, just to get my protection going. I just started this hobby, I don't want to quit and cry in the shower for two weeks while scooping ice cream just yet. I do remember a threat about such situations..
Or are you talking about those beers? I'm fine with posting those.

uhh...I don't think that you will find a person here that has posted as much serious bonsai content about nearly every aspect of bonsai from awesome progressions to how to put a tree on display. Padder I am not..

I do understand your shortcomings though...it can be frustrating. ;)

(adding the smilly seems to soften the posts around here....so there)

Tear it apart, I have way more where that came from and it was a lot of work to get it in that box, if I'm going to put that much work in i want it to be worth something when I'm done.
