No one gets it. they see "Hawaii" and they're off. Palm trees and white or black sand beaches. I'm at 4Kfeet. Never over 85F and this AM it was 55F And it's cold every night. The walls here are less than 1"thick. I freeze my ass off all winter.

I would take cold over heat...if your cold pile more clothing on...if your hot once you get down to your skivies you got no where else to go unless your Smoke and you wear a thong! I refuse.

I used to say that too. (why am I here?) And always loved the rain but I'm getting up there and feel the cold much more. And have certified SADS. If I could afford to move I would. I'm on a waiting list for senior housing in Hilo where I'll complain about the heat. But it's just not healthy to be to cold all the time. Have to get rid of all bonsai. No market here, no one will pay much no matter how good they are. I ask myself, "what will I do?" Leaping into the chasm of fate.

I'm warm blooded it seems, I didn't realise it until I moved to Europe but I don't think I have been properly hot for nearly 10 years. I mean it can get hot maybe once a year or so in the temps you guys are having and it is quite generally warm here most of summer but for me I call it pleasant. People are dropping dead and I'm thinking what is wrong with these pussies.
I can also spend time in the sun here as opposed to getting burnt to a crisp in 20 minutes, that I don't miss.
