why?
i doubt this would suit a slab.

ever seen any of Walter pall's field maples...i think they did fine without any root grafts

Posting these out might be a pain in the ass because it is a heavy & cumbersome tree?

not at all Paul. ive sent taller trees with no issues
Any recommendations on how to go about it? I have too many trees and will be selling off a bunch of them at some point this fall or spring.

ive ordered a few trees from kaizen and other places which sort of gave me an idea.
use hot glue and gaffer tape to secure trees to base of box. gorilla tape, the wide one.
bits of brown tape n cheaper gaffer tape everywhere else.im doing a couple tonight ill post some pics.

Never said permanently. I would do something to fan out the roots, if you were keeping it. Understand you gave it your time and just selling. Again, looks great.

sometimes i use wood n plastic inserts which i get free from my local garden centre from the crates they use.there is a couple wooden sticks hidden in the roof of this box so it wont get squashed if a heavier box goes on top.they can be used at the sides too

Sometimes using plastic right angle pieces, taped to the outside corners of the box.
Its how my Pear arrived, pics sent to you Bobby. Was a taller tree, has fragile bark on it so I was pleased with the packaging.
