Here are a couple of photos of some windswept whitebark pines located at Vogelsang High Sierra Camp in Yosemite National Park. The site is located at an elevation of 10,200 feet and the wind can really whip through this area.
That's great Barry. Why are you always up in Yosemite? I was thumbing through my current issue of Backpacking magazine and am starting to get the urge for another trip

I work as a seasonal ranger during the summer. Part of my responsibilities include working as a wilderness guide leading people to a series of High Sierra Camps. I don't have a lot of time to take photos but I sneak them in when I have a group of slow hikers.
I took a group around last week and shot a lot of juniper photos. I plan to upload them to photobucket, so I'll post a link at that time.
