Thanks everyone, I like the fifth one best. I think that they may be fired even higher that cone 8, I just remember him explaining what the cones were, how they worked, and showing me the melted/bent ones from the firing and I know eight was mentioned.
My wife does not do bonsai with me, other that keeping me company on occasions whilst I water and repot, etc. She does admire the finished product and loves showing them off to visitors to our home. She has told me many times that she is greatful that I have a hobby that keeps me at home most of the time, she has a lot of friends that have husbands who hunt, fish, or race cars and are gone most of the time. She is a great supporter.
I do have other pots that are square, oval, rectangular, etc. I got these mostly for some azaleas that I am working on. I am awful at choosing a front for a tree and a round pot makes it easier.
