Jade

Lol, that is one of my favorite movies, always good for a laugh.

I was short on time. More pics to follow.

It used to look a lot better, in its glory days, and is actually a root-over-rock model. The tree rats ate all but one or two of the roots off of it and I thought that I was gonna lose it. Ihad to take it out of the pot and buy the whole mess in this plastic container. Hopefully more roots have appeared. It seems to be doing well above the soil. It now spends most of its time in its own personal cage.

I recently inherited a dwarf jade from a older gentleman who passed away. He knew I was into bonsai, and I am thankful for the tree. It was in rough condition when received though. I repotted it, wired it up and left it to grow out for the last five months. It's doing great, and putting out tons of new growth. Tips on care, pruning, fertilizing, etc? I live in N. Michigan, so it'll only be outside for apprx three months. Any thoughts would be appreciated as I don't have a lot of experience with succulents/tropicals.

Of all the trees I have, jade is the one that I have the least experience with. I you post a picture, perhaps I can tell you what I would do and maybe others can also comment on it.

Might want to think about indoor lighting options. IM starting to think about succulent bonsai. I have a pretty big adenium that might get chopted up.
