Japan Maple Love

For the maple lover in you, I am posting photographs of trident and Japanese maple bonsai of all sizes and quality that I took last year when I was in Japan. A few other photos also depict full grown A. Palmatums growing in gardens throughout Kyoto. Most of the photos were taken at various nurseries around the Omiya area and at the well known Taisho-en nursery in Shizuoka about 2 hours south of Tokyo. I am repurposing some pictures from another thread of mine documenting my trip, however many of the photos here have not been seen yet.

Wow, thank you for such a detailed set of pictures. I found a lot to love, but for me (and surprising to me) the best ones were the little guys. Maybe I'll have to look at doing more shohin...

Thanks for posting these pictures, Mach, wonderful trees! Fwiw, with only a few exceptions, I believe your personal trees would stand up favorably to any of the trees in the pics....
