These are some JM seedlings that I got from Bill Valivanas about 6 years ago. I wanted to make a JM grove and here it is 6 years later. Hope you enjoy - I do!

Sorry, Here you go.

Well done Dave! I like this little forest. All good things come with time and skill :)

One comment I'd like to make is to consider moving one of the 4 trees on the right over to the left so that you establish more of a flow within the design. Right now my eye reads 1 and 4. This is assuming that the last two pics are the most recent?

This should be gorgeous in Autumn!

Yes, I agree. Next time I repot. Here is another JM from Bill - from the same group of seedlings.

That's pretty cool for 6 years. And the single is barking up nicely. I like the form of the low branches and the base.
Make sure you post that forest in the fall!

winter 2016, needs pruning.

Nice ones, will you prune it when repotting ?

I will most likely prune the small branches early spring. I seem to get more branch die back when I prune JM in the middle of winter .

Yes, now isnt a good time yet, i got myself a maple too, will post it after repotting
Its in big need of a lot of pruning and rootwork and styling.
Probably will do everything together when i repot, somewhere in march
