I am asking $1600+shipping obo. Don't be afraid to ask me a lower price I can only say no or you never know. http://bonsai.shikoku-np.co.jp/en/s...new-variety-spend-15-years-for-selection.html That's the variety basically a dwarf corker, stand about 14" and 3.5"+ base. Very good branching and very nice tree in a tokoname stamped pot. Email me at jsantana41483@gmail.com or text me at 786-716-8371 Jonathan. This tree was basically done in Japan and has been here for about 5 years. I don't know the age but the tree has some age on it just look at the cork. I am guessing over 20 years old easily. Thank you for looking

GATDAWG that was fast! Guess $1,600 was a reasonable number! Lol

FWIW, that IS what nice cork barks go for IF you can find one in the U.S. They're not all that common and are expensive, even if most of the trees we get from Japan are "culls" from their REALLY good ones.

Agreed on all points, and add to it the fact that they're in a really small corner of an already niche market.
Congrats to the buyer and seller. Nice little tree.

I think it is a gorgeous tree! I was just laughing because he made a thread a it this tree recently asking if people thought $1,600 was a reasonable price point, and there was some discussion, someone basically flamed him and slammed the tree (which was ridiculous) , and the general opinion was something to the effect of "it is worth what someone will pay for it" and someone certainly was willing to pay $1,600, and FAST!!

The poster asked for everything he got. I mean, if you want to sell it, SELL IT. Don't go all weasely with a post wondering if the price you're asking is acceptable. People have brains and are sensitive to BS, especially when it comes to sales BS.
