So as of a few days ago we got some new buds popping and some old buds pushing. The first two pictures are where i cut back the only shoot growing on the branch off to the right(hopefully that makes sense in conjunction with the photos above in this thread). The last picture is the back branch where i cut back to a smaller shoot, as you can maybe see, there are new buds emerging here too! Awesome to see how vigorous these pines really are. Almost as quick of a pruning response as my Japanese maple!
