Midwest Source For Pumice

I finally got pricing for Or. pumice and shipping costs. I can get anything from 1 pallet/bulk tote bag that holds 2 cuyds unbagged, 50# bags ( the price at least doubles for labor to bag the pumice in OR), to flat rate boxes.

Finally sifted thru 1 qt of pumice. The sifting sizes are:

Ext lg 3/8
Lg 9/32
M. 3/16
Sm 5/32
Extr sm 5/64

An update: I finally nailed down close estimated shipping pallet costs, bulk 2cuyds, and 40-67#bag pallets or 2.2cuyds. The material costs are $1200 for the bulk tote, and $1450 for the 67# pallet.
This is for material, and a rough shipping estimate based on shipping from OR to Chicago.
This week I'm working on getting shipping rates for the indiv. 67# bags. The material costs is $38.

I'm planning on placing my order in late jan.

The cheapest shipping ive seen in $30 for a 40llb bag.

This had to be put on hold due to the terrible winter weather and no place to unload the pumice. plus I've been in no mood to unload a pallet in our arctic condition here lol
I may put in an order in April or wait till this fall. Either way, flat rate boxes are the only option to buy as shipping 40-60# just turned out to be cost prohibitive.
