MY GARDEN, SHARE YOURS

Gorgeous and nearly professionally done! (Yes, I noticed the joint in your trellis 😈)
But seriously, gorgeous work. One day I should do something alike. 😕

The pergola was a building package we bought online, and in stead of complete poles everything was cut in half  so the posting package was manageable, and we had to assemble it, but the joints weren't that well done, so this is something I need to correct this summer...
But for now it holds, we had even a storm or 2 blowing over it and it didn't budge.

So, on the north side of the fence running east-west?

On the east side of the fence, with north side protected by the barn (on the right), and the south (left) open from the garden.
It's shaded in summer starting from 4-5 pm

Last friday and saturday I finally had the time and the necessary wooden boards delivered to build my benches.
First had to empty the lot and setting all the trees aside.
It took some time to measure up, and start laying out everthing.
Then measure twice and saw once 😁
And combining all together took more time then I anticipated.
But I am very well pleased with the result, and will enjoy this for a long time !
I think I just got a project for me to work on. I have a long fence that we just replaced on the back side of the house. This would be perfect.
Cheers,

Very neat!

This weekend I started my vegetable garden/ bonsai garden renovation!!! It’s on hold right now because of the rain, but so am hoping to have everything done this weekend.

Instead of three 5x10 vegetable garden beds, I am doing two 16 foot beds.

Also, instead of five 5 foot long bonsai benches I am doing two 12 foot full sun benches and three 5 foot long afternoon shade benches.

SPECTACULAR, I encourage others to share their Gardens and trees. I am missing the garden tours and exhibitions.

This move has been a life-long dream and my trees gave me the nudge to make it happen. New grounds, new challenges and new opportunities.

Nothing but hard work ahead and no regrets leaving the golf-course view behind.

If you're out there in the evening enjoying the view with a drink, I'd stay away from that edge!!
