I used to carry one of my Benchmade Autos as an everyday tool. Now, its a criminal offense, they seize it and you pay fines and get jail time. They are powerful autos and great quality knives.

Move down to Oklahoma. They are legal here now.

Of course people can also open carry and risk the high probability of getting shot by the bad guy with their own gun they (bad guy) snatched. :) Probably not the smartest law we passed. lol. Amazingly, most are smart enough to not open carry here.

I make chef knives and field knives from reclaimed materials. I hand forge all my steel and thoroughly test it. My handle materials are mostly domestic wood I locally source, dry, and cut up. I hope you all enjoy my blades. You can check out my website, or my Instagram under the same name. Thanks for the looks.

Tell me more about this knife. I will dream about it tonight.

And are we talking about knives?!?! They are another passion of mine. I have several folders that I beat up on a daily basis. My true love is fixed blade knives. Overall, my favorite in my collection is the ESEE Izula II. The only downside is that I love it so much I stopped buying other knives..I guess my wife is glad I bought it then.

Its by a Czech maker Roman Blaha. The handle is Argentine lignum vitae and the blade is an o1 or o2 tool steel clad with damascus. I can't remember what steels were used for the damascus--I'd have to ask the maker. Its my favorite knife my collection--clean lines and quality craftsmanship. The knife maker is a great guy to work with too, very patient and respectful.

Today i am wearing the Spyderco Bob Lum Chinese sprint run in aluminum scales and a black coated japanese VG-10 blade made in Seki City Japan. Long since discontinued, it is one of my favorites. Mr. Lum passed away several years ago making his custom knives become very sought after, I hope to own one some day.20160514_121950.jpg
