Pondering a purchase...

Ahhh light bulb! Or...is it flame!?! So, my intended back...might really be the front. (Second photo) at least in the training direction it was taken.
Yes, the second photo shows a much better image than the first. Even had a chi-chi started

Yes,thanks Adair...the back showed a hint of the chi-chi...I was hoping to use that URO scar and develop it more. (Like in the example.) But, looking at the two...understanding the flame styling as you pointed out at the beginning Adair. I know your right. Yes...with one chi-chi started already. The chi-chi is cool...so not a bad direction at all for the front. Just not the deep URO scar. Another tree some day. Lol

I disagree. The second image shows the trunk chops, and the resulting perfectly cylindrical barrels of trunk. It's boring. The first image is very sinuous with a nicely curving trunk...not common with ginkgoes. The chi chis will develop on both sides with time (Michael Scott fans?). Here is what I might do:

@Brian Van Fleet ...I did like the melting looking nebari more from that side...the taper. But I also liked the branch over on the right. The photo I shared...was sort of my vision for it. But...food for thought. Once it arrives I will know more on how much I love the base and such...but...love having options. Thanks!

Is there anything to be said which are malle and which female, once they start growing from seed?
I did Google the species. It said that it can take 20-30 years before one knows what sex a tree when grown from seed. Basically your waiting for maturity of it to bare fruit, after 30 years and no fruit...most likely a male.
