Procumbens Progression

These pics span 4 years or so. I wish I would have kept more of the original trunk as jin but I shortened it too much at the beginning - it looked kind of obscene and I ended up cutting it all off. Live and learn I guess.

Should I? (Ficus advice)

So I bought this ficus a few weeks back and I’m not sure what to do with it. I’m thinking of cutting it back and letting it grow out. This is where I’m thinking of cutting. Any other ideas? Other pics from other angles.

American Hornbeam forest

This is the beginning of an American hornbeam- Carpinus caroliniana forest I started in 2016. All of the seedlings were taken from my woods. Oddly enough, the wire on the trunks was used to straighten them out as they were too contorted for vertical use.

Not online progressions, but Harry Harrington has two excellent books that are basically in depth progressions along with his thought processes behind them. Bonsai Inspirations 1 & 2. I see that you are in Nashville - if we ever get around to having NBS meetings again I'd be happy to loan you the first one.
