Hello...i am about to jump into something here in KCMO area, that has got me nervous. I have heard its difficult to keep RMJs alive around here. I havnt received it yet but will soon. Any tips would be greatly appreciated, ty.

That surprises me. I would think they'd be almost bomb proof anywhere in the Midwest. I've got 3 here in N GA that do fine but get cedar apple rust and spider mites every year.

Probably, but not potted and in my yard.

What are u using for the rust and mites?

Clearys granular applied to the soil surface along with daconil and copper sprays in the spring for fungus. For the mites, I'm using Sultan.

I am battling m first mites infestation. Wish me luck. Sultan is on the list.
