Not bugs on trees, but,

A dragonfly took a snooze on a screen for about 6 hours.


And, a firefly decided to crawl on my leg for a while. I’m glad I looked before inadvertently whacking it off!

What kind of bug is that barefoot one with the backpack?

Ummmm! ! We had a pretty significant storm, and plenty of trees down and multi-day power outages.

I saw him walking, barefoot (!), down the street, and was sort of surprised!

That was not supposed to be attached to this!!

Have never seen a colorful leaf hopper before.

Found this sitting on my Crabapple sapling pretending to be a branch. Size is a bit off, but color is perfect. Couldn't get phone camera to focus...

I saved a Weta while moving house lol.
A piece of ally tape had come away and a Weta had all it's legs and body stuck.
As I carefully lifted each leg I placed a wee bit of paper underneath so it wouldn't attach again.. No pics soz

I got no video or pictures but try to imagine this:
Cjr running through the swamp, mud up to his knees, root slayer in one hand, hooting and hollering, swiping at any branches in front of him with the jungle knife on his other hand.
Hornets are way scarier than wasps is all I can say.

*Goes home and looks in the shed for his flame thrower.

I guess that was a pay back for the time in my youth where I had a torch at the exit of a hornet nest. I then poked the nest and singed off the wings of the hundreds and hundreds of hornets that came flying out. The fire ants came out and had a hornet feast.
