Thought I'd share the photos I took today of many of my trees, all of these have been worked on or repotted (some are newcomers) and some are projects! I like to keep photo records, so I'll just post em up..The hornbeams first!

Impressive Judy. Thanks for sharing:)
A lot of new green for as close as you are to me. Greenhouse I guess.
Trying to keep mine sleeping for now. Nuthr trip to FL in the forecast.
You are an inspiration for me from day one.

Spectacular collection Judy! Well curated 😍

Hoping your beech project works out. I think you have a good chance for success with it. Fingers crossed! 🤞
It may take two years but I am prepared to wait for it. I counted 5 trees from you!😁

Yes, and I have lights in there so I don’t have to shuffle much. Only the pines really. I get extra growing season on both ends. Like living in a zone south or so...thanks for the kind words.

I went out this year and purposefully picked up a bunch of projects this year as I felt like I only had trees that were further along in the development phase, and really enjoy the process to get there. I have several trees i didn’t photograph in nursery pots still! Unusual for me, but I’m enjoying it all. It has renewed my bonsai enthusiasm which I felt was flattening out in the past couple years.

Your trees are really an inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

Do gardenia's air layer easily? I've got two large mature gardenia's that I have to remove because of a home project and I thought I'd try and air layer a few of the main large diameter trunks.
I would not know, I don't even know many propagators here in the US who have many of them outside the florist industry.
